Find the right marathon plan for your mileage, goals, and experience level
Within each plan, you can follow two different mileage build-ups. For example, the Wind plan supports either a mileage build-up peaking at 55 miles per week (mi/wk), or a mileage build-up peaking at 65 mi/wk. The workouts are the same in both mileage variants of the plan.
Each plan also has a metric version with workouts and mileage in kilometers instead of miles. The metric plans are "kilometer-native" - they are intelligently redesigned for training in kilometers (no "16.1 km runs").
Below, you can see more info on each plan, plus links to more details on each plan, including printable PDFs. Get the book for day-by-day training calendars, detailed workout instructions, and difficulty guidelines for every workout.
